Fitz All Media approached us to redevelop their event websites for Dogfest, the National Pet Shows and One Live. These events had outgrown their websites and existing solution of single sites for each show location, with individual annual software license fees being both restrictive and costly. A rethink was needed to provide a more scalable and cost effective solution for the company’s future plans.
We redeveloped each event site from the ground up, assessing target audiences, goals and planning out the user journeys. We combined a main brand event site alongside integrated ‘micro’ websites for each show location. By adding a brand level to the user journey, content is now year round and search engine friendly. This greatly enhances each brand’s digital presence and gives a fantastic top of the funnel experience for visitors who are not already aware of the brand. This approach also gives a logical entry point for visitors who already know the brand and the specific show location they are interested in, with each show ‘micro’ site optimised for search.
In addition, new show locations can now be easily added to each event website making the whole package scalable for future needs and much more cost effective.
Especially as we do not charge any annual software license fees.
