River Street Events approached us as they wanted better support, better digital advice and a flexible solution that moved away from the year on year license model that they felt was restrictive.

A major goal was to migrate their biggest brand BBC Good Food Show to a single domain and website. It had previously been served by multiple domains, which was hampering their content marketing and SEO aspirations. One brand, one domain, one website was certainly the right move but one their current providers were reluctant to offer.

We built a custom solution for each of their brands, which included building the BBC Good Food Show single website mothership. We focused on both the mobile journey to purchase, and reducing the amount of effort required to buy a ticket across all devices.

We also crafted the search engine results pages in Google using a variety of techniques including deploying Google’s Rich Snippets and Structured Data tools. This has given the brand maximum exposure in search engine results for their branded search. The benefit of this is that they do not have to pay for branded search keywords. This alone amounted to an annual saving of over £9500.
